View This PollAnyone can say those things in secret, but it is by example that we lead. Evidently, it is  by the example that others see. We need to show our support. That is why it is said in that way, show your support. Meaning, we need to see you. In all the history books, we can see them and their struggles and that brings about a whole new meaning.

Keith Olbermann and family, I hope you be blessed continually. Noone does it better. You brought it home, right where it should  be.

Let me say this, I wish that along with the election process that so much hatred wasn’t being revealed, but I knew that it would happen and that it would be just a matter of time before it all surfaced. We need each other, like nobodys business, I want to tell all of you, black and white, latino, asian, any race, I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT YOU, NOT ONE OF YOU IS TO BE OUT OF MY LIFE, I NEED YOU ALL. I mean that from my heart. Although, racism makes me furious and hate scares me, l can’t deny my need for everyone. My ideal life would be to see a smile on everyones face when I enter a room, and to give everyone a smile as they enter the room.

I want life to change, I want to see a difference. Mainly because I don’t know how much racism I am supposed to take. I don’t know how much racism any race is supposed to take. But I believe that we have all had enough. It has broken my heart to see the hate. Yet even for me to speak on it and expose the truth, makes people call me racist. That hurts. The only thing I want to know is why people hate me. I can’t tell you the last time, I was around a large group diversified  people, because everyone seems so busy with their own lives and problems. But if we don’t make time for each other, then what good are we? Even in church, you go in and hear your sermon, and that’s about all. It seems that most people don’t trust anyone anymore.

We can’t stay this way forever, we have got to reach out to someone at some time. Why not reach out to a different person everyday, even if it’s just a shy smile or saying thank you when they hold the door open. Why not give a woman a compliment, even if you think she’s prettier than you. You’ll feel better. Let someone by on the pedestrian crosswalk, instead of blowing the horn at them and rushing them to cross, while shooting dirty looks at them? Why not just slow down? Buy a man of another race or another woman a cup of coffee. I did the other day, and it was good. Ok I admit, she was buying a Obama coffee from 7eleven, so I was bias, I still paid. Maybe for you, it could be a Mccain cup. We need to talk. This is why the terrorist were able to do what they did. Racism. Remember, a country divided against itself cannot stand. Anything divided against itself is unable to stand. 9/11 brought something to NewYork, that had not been there in years, it bought a sense of community, and everyman was no longer seen for his color, it was for the stand that he took in his community and the community of others. We need to get back there again. That is one of my missions.

I know that we can’t reach everyone, but if you have any heart left, please try to make a change in your own community, and I didn’t say friends, remember, you’ve already won them over, it’s time to win someone else over. It’s time that we show our good side.

I read a tidbit of a post that states that we should judge Barack Obama  by the company he keeps. Is this true and is it a double standard? I have seen a new trend in this country, that is meaningful, too bad it’s a little too late and little too convenient. If a man is judged by his friends, then none of the Presidents would have made it into the white house. President Bill Clinton had shady characters in his campaign. Take Jesse Jackson, who has a love child. He was a huge supporter for Clinton. John McCain carried the support of John Hagee, one of the most hateful preachers of America we’ve ever seen. He is always in a stuper about something that America has done. Yet John McCain was fine with the financial backing from the white conservative church until, it was no longer convenient. He disassociated himself from the pastor. Not much talk about that though, but Barack was driven through the mud. Many people love John Kennedy, although his relationship with Marilyn Monroe was a highlight in his career. Look at Nixon and the watergate scandal. He was a president. Was he impeached? When Bill Clinton slept with Monica Lewinsky and then perjured himself, yes he did, he remained the president of the US. People love him despite his imperfections.

Listen all I know that this is politics, but when will it stop being a double standard for blacks. If the rule applies to blacks, then it should apply to whites and all other races. God only knows when the first Latino American runs for Presidency. What about the first Muslim? This is getting dirty and dirty politics is what is required in this country. Pouring salt on an old wound is what I call it. No effect whatsoever. Those that are voting for Barack have their reasons, and those voting for MCCain have their reasons.

America really needs more scare tactics and the presidential campaign is just what we need.

America really needs more people that sneer at the blacks in America, and that’s what the presidential election is all about. More scare tactics, more smeared campaigns, more lies. I understand misstatement and miscalculation, even mis pronunciations, but flat out blatant lies, now we have a real problem. I am a fact finder and a fact checker.

More Americans need to do the same, weigh the truth and you decide. Decide 2008

Thoughts ring true, of “Blacks were not brought to this country to be free” swinging in the minds of many. Is this the case that entraps itself in your hearts? Do blacks realize that their original intent was to be enslaved and since the changing of laws that many people were disappointed with the decision? Once you realize your original purpose, then can you understand racism and it’s position?

It has always been my understanding that when you respect others, then in turn they will respect you. However, it is untrue. There are many people, white to be specific that will not respect a black man or woman no matter what their economic status, no matter what their social status. Practically there is nothing that can be done to change the mind of a racist. A racist has it developed and imbreaded in their minds that we are nothing and will not be able to pass for even third class citizens. This is horrible when you realize how many people a black person has to actually come into contact with on a daily basis. As an African American 34 year old woman, it is my earnest belief, and should be considered factual, We are not mad at whites. We simply get angry when equal justice is not granted to us. Many whites feel that we are angry black men or women. However that is not the case. We truly don’t carry the hate gene. The anger we feel which is totally understandable giving the situation of the black and white relationship has been neglected. The simple notion that blacks should just “shut their mouths and move on” or perhaps “stop playing the race card” or another one, “get over it” those statements only served the purpose of the racist, not the victor.

What a disappointment to see that we have not progressed as much as we’d assumed in the times past. It has been more of a situation of we’ve kept quiet and haven’t made much fuss. Therefore, we weren’t being heard. Which works out wonderful for them. The hate that is carried by many whites is something that we know nothing about. Ironically, why are the racist angrier than we are. It’s just like a woman catching a man cheating, then he turns the tables and becomes angrier than she. I call that “Flipping the script.”

Our anger is real, and it should not be blindsided by the fact that we are “able to get things” in this country. “Things” are temporary. Respect is eternal. The anger and frustration that we feel is explainable.

If it were present in our bodies, it was cause from the racism that has stemmed in this country many years ago.

It is not a black persons responsibility to assume the worst in a white man or woman, it is their responsibility to show us different.

In the root of a black man or womans mind, it is insecurity filled with the fear of rejection of our white hosts. However deep in the heart of a white man or woman that struggles from racism, there seems to be a shallow grave waiting to fill it with the souls of blacks.

What can be done to relieve blacks and what solution can be done to ease the craving of a white racist to destroy all blacks?

The common stereotypes have grown, and with the political debates and the belief that Barack Obama may win the presidency,  is creating a massive growth in the expression of racism. Apparently they had been hiding in the shadows and are now ready to unleash. They are our, teachers, principals, Presidents, congress men and women, police officers, attorneys, doctors, they are our co-workers, they are everywhere. Unfortunately they can hardly be seen.

My all around question to anyone reading this post. Can you tell me why whites hate blacks? Why are they so afraid?
